A Thai-style sweet soy condiment, akin to Indonesian kecap manis, but made predominantly from sugar (≈ 70–80%) with only ~5% soy sauce content. 
Intended predominantly as a flavouring syrup: add sparingly to stir-fries, rice dishes, dipping sauces, marinades—especially for Thai-style recipes like Pad See Ew, Khao Man Gai accompaniments, or grilled meats.
